Connection, comfort, empowerment, and dignity through personalized music therapy experiences.
My Background

I am a newly credentialed Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a master’s degree in mental health counseling and over 10 years of experience teaching music in schools, performing locally, and offering private instruction in violin, voice, and other instruments. My primary instruments include violin/fiddle, banjo, viola, and voice. I also work with guitar, piano, hand drums, and other soothing pitched percussion instruments, and I enjoy accompanying others with gentle harmony vocals.

I provide music therapy for older adults and individuals at end of life, as well as those living with serious medical conditions or developmental disabilities. My work supports meaning-making, self-empowerment, comfort, relief from anxiety and agitation, emotional connection and expression, life review, spiritual comfort, and the processing of unfinished business during times of transition.

Why Music Therapy?

Music offers a unique way to transcend the limitations of the physical body, helping people reconnect with the essence of who they are—what they love, what has shaped them, and what continues to sustain them. Through music, individuals can access joy, core memories, and a sense of connection to themselves and others, while strengthening inner sources of resilience, even in the final stages of life.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience comfort, dignity, connection, and meaningful moments through live music.
